About This Project

This mosaic was designed to reflect traditional map, navigational and mythical art.  The outer ring depicts a sea serpent chasing a giant squid, with a “Jason and the Argonauts” style ship filling the center.  This mosaic graces the terrace leading down to a private beach access in Corona Del Mar, CA.
